Maruti cooking oils began its journey in 1984 with a pioneering concept of branded refined cottonseed oil in Gujarat. Back then, cooking oils were mostly sold in unbranded, bulk and loose form. Cottonseed oil had superior qualities as a cooking oil compared to other oils consumed then, and this led its promoters to launch the product and make people aware of its virtues. Maruti gave its consumers an excellent quality oil in convenient packing whose quality and purity could be trusted. Maruti is today synonymous with trust and quality.
